On a Friday night, I managed to fall asleep at 8 pm and wake up 1 pm the next day...(really pathetic i know---like 17 hours of sleep?!) haha but thats how I spent my friday night! Earlier on Friday, I met with an advisor to officially declare my minor in music! Yay! :D Its around 15 hours of classes and it involves technique, history, and lots of orchestra/ensemble classes, so I really need to brush up on my violin/piano playing! Im sad to say I haven't touched my poor violin in oh my gosh 3 years is it?
Oh the neglect it must feel :( haha but minoring in music will force to me to keep up with practicing! I cant let all those years of playing violin since 3rd grade and piano since 5th grade go to waste (although I seriously feel like I forgot how to play). Hopefully it'll just come naturally when I pick it up again? MORE IMPORTANTLY,Today was Shayphers 20th birthday!!!!
Deena gave him his pressie a homemade picture frame and candy of course! We all went out to eat at Chilis! It was so yummy, especially the chips and queso! I got steak with loaded mash potatoes, SO GOOD! There were so many babies at Chilis!
They were so cute! Then we came home and made brownies (since shaypher doesnt like cake which is crazy!) and decorated it with frosting and candles. After we played Mario Kart, which of course I won most of the races ;)
